Kilo 4 Delta · 10-module online course
From Emotion to Strategy
A step-by-step course for Australian parents going through separation and family court. Learn how the system actually works, how to prepare for mediation, when to formalise arrangements, and how to protect your children's stability without losing yourself in the process.
$499 one-off, or $25/week for 26 weeks. Lifetime access.
Good parents make costly mistakes when they're in survival mode
The angry message sent at midnight. The informal agreement that was never written down. The parenting plan signed to end an exhausting mediation. The Facebook post. The "advice" from a friend who went through it ten years ago.
None of these come from bad parenting. They come from making high-stakes decisions while overwhelmed, without understanding how the system works.
This course gives you that understanding, in plain language, so you can slow down, think clearly and act in a way you won't regret.
10 modules. One clear path.
Video and written lessons, quizzes and practical frameworks you can use straight away.

This course is for you if…
- You're a parent in Australia who has recently separated, or is heading into mediation or court.
- You want to understand the process before you make decisions you can't undo.
- You're representing yourself, or want to work more effectively with your lawyer.
- You want to protect your children's stability, not "win" a war.
What this course is not
- It isn't legal advice, and it doesn't replace a lawyer for your specific situation.
- It won't promise you a particular outcome. No honest course can.
- It isn't a playbook for punishing the other parent.
- It isn't a substitute for emergency or specialist help if you or your children are unsafe.
Questions
Is this legal advice?
No. The course is general education about Australian family law and the process around separation. It's designed to help you understand your options and ask better questions. For advice about your own circumstances, speak with a family lawyer, Legal Aid or a community legal centre. The course points you to these throughout.
Do I still need a lawyer?
Many parents use the course alongside a lawyer and find they get more from their legal advice. Others are representing themselves. The course explains when professional advice is particularly important, such as family violence, existing orders, relocation or signing significant documents.
Is it specific to Australia?
Yes. It's written for parents dealing with the Australian family law system and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, including the 2024 parenting law changes.
How long do I have access?
Lifetime access to all 10 modules. Work through them at your own pace and come back whenever circumstances change.
How does the weekly plan work?
You can pay $499 once, or $25 per week for 26 weeks ($650 in total). Both options give you access to the full course from the start.
What if I'm dealing with family violence?
Your safety comes first. If you or your children are in immediate danger, call 000. For confidential support, contact 1800RESPECT (1800 737 732). The course covers how safety concerns affect mediation and parenting arrangements, but it is not a substitute for specialist support.
You can't control the other parent. You can control how prepared you are.
Emotion reacts. Strategy builds.
Kilo 4 Delta provides general information and education about Australian family law. It is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Outcomes depend on individual circumstances. In an emergency, call 000.
